AI enablement · Product development representative in the cross-departmental AI group · SWR
Starting point
The market for AI tools was crowded and growing fast.
Every department had its own needs, but nobody had an overview of which tools actually delivered value and which just sounded good. What was missing was a shared methodology for evaluating them.
The evaluation methodology · defined before testing
From market to selection
Many tools on the market
by clear criteria
A few with real value
Result
The pilot phase turned into a permanent AI structure.
Several AI tools found a permanent place in the company and continued beyond my contract.
What I take away
The difference between playing with AI and getting value from AI lies in the evaluation methodology. If you define what "better" concretely means before testing, you end up making decisions instead of following gut feelings.
